Spring Collet


Functions and features

・
Spring collet YCC series are spring collets that can chuck round work pieces easily and accurately in machining with rotary tables and index tables. YCC series can be used with the exclusive collet adaptors.
・
YSS20 and YSS25, of which collet diameter is from 3mm to 20mm, are stocked in units of 1mm.
・
In addition to standard round hole, collet diameter can be made square hole by a special order.
・
Apart from standard product and special-make product, we can provide slit blank collet to be holed by customers themselves.

Collet adaptor


Functions and features

・
Collet adaptor CA series is a simple unit that makes the spring collet clamp and unclamp by manually opening and closing the cap with the attached lever. The way to open and close the chuck is easy. Just insert the attached lever into the outside diameter hole of the cap and turn it. Work pieces can be chucked and unchucked easily.
・
Can be used set to the round tail side directly, which can shorten the time for arrangement changes easily.
・
Special size adaptors can be manufactured in regards to customer’s request.
・
Collet chuck unit for automation can also be manufactured.

1. Attach collet adaptor CA to the rotary table.* 2.

Insert spring collet YSS into the collet adaptor.

 3.

Tighten the collet cap on the collet adaptor lightly by hand.

Attachment of the collet adaptor and spring collet completed.

   5.

Insert a work piece into inner diameter of the spring collet.

   6.

Turn the collet cap with the attached lever.

Turn the lever and make the work piece clamped.

   8.

Attachment of the work piece completed.

   9. Machining starts.

Perform center alignment before attaching collet adaptor CA to the rotary table.
*
After machining has been completed by one time, loosen the clamped work piece, change its position and make it clamped again for the next machining.

Flange Center


Functions and features

・
Flange center FC series are a rotating assisting device with a work driving dog. It is a flange that is used set to the table face to support the edge of a work piece with 60°center hole and rotate the work piece with the dog.
・
Can be used easily just set to the table face of rotary tables or index tables.
・
Special size can be manufactured in regards to customer’s request.

1.

Set the flange center to the top of the rotary table.

 2.

Set a work piece with the dog.

3. Machining starts.

Useful in machining a work piece of both-centered.

When machining in reverse rotation, be careful of backlash of the dog.
