Side Spindle


Functions and features

・
  • Side spindle SS series are used to support an end of a jig when multi-side machining is done on a work　piece with jigs like hummock-type.
・
  • Spindle is pushed forward by the disc spring, which enables the structure to absorb a slight displacement between the table and jig plate in the axial direction.
・
  • Clamping structure is not built-in.
・
  • Due to grease lubrication, oil replenishment is not necessary.

  • Side table ST series have pneumatic or hydraulic clamping mechanism built-in to support a jig.

  • Suitable for larger jigs as the front and rear part of the table axis are supported by large bearings
・
  • When clamping is done with pneumatic or hydraulic pressure, clamping air or hydraulic oil is controlled from outside.
